Can you get arthritis in muscles? more than joints?

Every September I get a back ache in lower back muscles, without injury. I have read that arthritis is triggered by change of temperature and season…but virtually all arthritis documents i can find, talk about arthritis in JOINTS.,,, I seem to get a little gout in my foot sometimes . But my main problem is pain in back muscles. I have no disc injury or pain. Can you get gout/uric acid crystals in your muscles? Any way to get better info on this?

Arthritis is inflammation in the joints, not the muscles.

Remember, just because you have the feeling of pain in your muscles, doesn’t mean it isn’t your joints. For that matter, it could be neither. It could be pinched nerves that make you feel like you have pain in your muscles. When this happens you should keep checking your shoulder joints, elbows, etc., for redness and fever, just like you probably noticed with your foot when you had gout in it. Have you been seen by a neurologist? Maybe you should check into that.
