I can be in a room that’s comfortable and I not be cold, but my hands and feet will be freezing. It’s very annoying. Something as small as a quick brush of cold air can set it off. What’s even weirder is during the day it’s easy for my hands and feet to get cold, yet at night it’s completely opposite. One night when I was in college, my hands became very warm, so I dipped them in ice water for 3 solid minutes. Less than 5 minutes later they were warm again. Very, very weird.

Fortunately, Ive taken to heart suggestions from boy scouts to keep my core warm before my extremities. So, when I have to go out in the cold, and used to wear glove liners and gloves, now I wear just gloves, but perhaps 4 layers of shirts (t-shirt, under armor, turtleneck, and sweatshirt) along with a coat, and I can withstand a great deal more cold and exposure. It may seem counter intuitive, but it has worked for me, and Ive suffered with this for years.
