Early Diagnosis of Knee OA with Dr. John Esdaile (Part 1 of 2)

This first workshop (split into 2 parts) in the series titled Do I have arthritis and what do I do about it? is presented by internationally respected rheumatologist and Scientific Director at the Arthritis Research Centre of Canada, Dr. John Esdaile. In it, he describes early osteoarthritis and lists the factors that are linked to an increased risk of developing it. Dr. Esdaile discusses how early osteoarthritis can be diagnosed, citing research that examines barriers to diagnosing early osteoarthritis. Also, he talks about the importance of early diagnosis in treating and managing osteoarthritis, leading to the topics of the two web workshops that follow, which are nutrition and exercise for those living with osteoarthritis.
